Current directory: photos

Since I've bought a digital camera and started accumulating masses of JPGs, I've been toying with the idea of writing some Perl to build a nice web-based photo album to put up here. Then I suddenly realised I'm much too lazy to do all of that hard work, so I searched on Freshmeat and found a neat program to do it for me. You too can find this program, which is album by MarginalHacks. It's a nice piece of software.

The albums are arranged in directories; you can navigate using the "Sub directories" links, and get back to the main page by clicking the "Current Directory" tree in the top right or the "Photos" button on the bar on the left.

The album categories are pretty self explanatory, except for "My favourites"; these are the photos I reckon are actually pretty good, rather than the usual digital camera take-pics-until-the-battery-is-flat junk.
